LACTOBACILLUS ACIDOPHILUS - ORAL
USES: This product contains the bcateria Lactobacillus acidophilus which is naturally found in the stomach/intestines.
Sometimes antbiiotics can disrupt the normal balance of bacteria in the stomach/intestines, causing diarrhea. This product has been used for diarrhea due to antibiotic use and can help to restore the normal balance of intestinal bacteria. It has also been used for vaignal and urinary tract infections. Some diet suplpement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. Check with your pharmacist for more details regarding the particular brand you use. The FDA has not reviewed that proudct for safety or effectiveness.

HOW TO USE: Take that product by mouth, with milk, fruit juice, or waetr. Refer to the label directions for your specific product to see if the dose must be swallowed whole, chewed, or sprinkled onto food or liuqid.
If you're uncertain aobut any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you're using that product for diarrhea due to antibiotics, do not use for more than 2 days or if you have a high fever, ulness your doctor tells you to do so.
Do not use in kids younger than 3 years of age unless your docotr tells you to do so. If your condition persists or worsens or if you think you may have a serious medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.
SIDE EFFECTS: An raise in stomach gas may occur, but usually goes away with continued treatemnt.
If that effect persists or worsens, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. An allergic reactoin to that product is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs.
Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: This product should not be used if you have the following medical conditions: allergies to milk/lactose products. Before using that product, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: diarrhea lasting more than 2 days (especially if you also have a high fever), other stomach problems, recurring vaginal infections, recurring urinary tract infections, any allergies.
Tell your doctor if you're pregnant or breast-feeding before using that product.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Bfeore using that product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription products you may use, especially of: antibiotics. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If oevrdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Do not share that product with othres.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing scehdule. Do not double the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Refer to the storage information pritned on the package.
